Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, manage the full lifecycle of contracts essential to our research and collaboration activities, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various legal agreements.

We seek a knowledgeable and proactive Employment Lawyer to join our legal team. In this role, you will provide expert legal guidance on all aspects of employment law, ensuring our organization remains compliant with all relevant regulations and fostering a positive workplace environment. Own and lead the negotiation of contracts with IonQ’s strategic component suppliers and service providers/vendors. This position is a key role related to supporting various aspects of the company's litigation portfolio including eDiscovery activities, workflow management, and attorney support. Prepares a variety of technical legal documents that are characteristically complex in format. Reviews incoming documents and material and considers the nature and the status of the case involved.

This position will allow candidates to demonstrate expertise in performing legal review and FOIA request processing, amongst other litigation support tasks. Paralegals will work conducting searches and analyzing result sets to separate non-responsive documents from responsive documents and screen responsive documents for privilege or FOIA exemptions. Redact and code responsive documents, perform legal research, and draft legal documents.
